As Laura Napier and Kayleigh Gray move on to new endeavours, we send our very best wishes with them. Laura has been with HB Underwriting since its creation and Kayleigh was a great asset to our team over the few years she spent with us; we will naturally miss them both from the business.
We would, however, like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our new team members, their roles and let you know how to contact them.

The new year welcomed the newest member of our team; in order to maintain our rigorous service standards, we are pleased to welcome Becki Gee as Underwriting & Operations Manager. Becki takes over the underwriting reins and will be looking at how we further enhance our proposition. Becki was previously the Agricultural Underwriting Manager at Victor Insurance and has also held positions at DAS and the NFU – this puts her in a strong position, through both her experience and knowledge, to be able to assist our agricultural brokers.

Just before Christmas, we introduced Corrine Woosnam to you in our newsletter. Corrine joins us as Assistant Underwriter having previously worked for TSB Bank. Corrine plays a key role in supporting our broker panel, helping you provide a strong service proposition to your clients.

In September 2021, we welcomed Rachel Kelly to the team as Partnerships Manager. This appointment enables us to support our customer base for our Rural Protect products, as well as develop the distribution of new products in the pipeline. Rachel will work with our Rural Protect partner brokers to maximise the opportunities available, as well as provide training and sales support. Rachel comes with an abundance of experience from PeachPI, iPrism and JLT/Thistle where she has held various positions. This means Rachel is familiar with the challenges brokers face, the wider insurance market and how to successfully develop and market new products.
