Remember, our quote and buy platform can be accessed 24/7 and although you are able to self-serve, there is always support available should you need it, just email us as normal at enquiries@hbunderwriting.co.uk or you can call us during our opening hours on 01653 609090.
Friday 22nd December – 8:30am – 1pm
Monday 25th December – Closed
Tuesday 26th December – Closed

Merry Christmas; it’s a wrap!
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at HB Underwriting!
Another year is drawing to a close, and what a packed year we’ve had! So much so that we thought we’d summarise what we’ve been up to throughout the year…
Training
Many of you will have seen us at a Rural Protect product training session either in person or via Teams; we’ve hosted more than 40 of these over the year, covering product features, the rradar claims proposition and all the associated tools that policyholders have access to. If you’ve not attended a session and feel it would benefit you or your teams, please get in touch.
Marketing Collateral
We have added to our document suite various flyers, covering topics such as the differences between commercial legal expenses and Directors and Officers cover, the benefits of placing a customer onto Rural Protect and more, giving you the tools to sell the product to a customer who doesn’t know they need it until they understand the far-reaching benefits it provides. Claims Examples
We’ve collated a comprehensive document that focuses on real-life claims where Rural Protect has assisted customers. This is broken down into business type so that you can hone in on claims that are relevant to your customer. We’ll be adding more claims as these are closed and we feel that they demonstrate the essence of Rural Protect. You can see it here.
Quote & Buy Platform
The year has seen our new quote and buy platform being embedded and users getting used to the format; we know there have been some small issues and we thank you for your feedback, keep it coming! We are continuing to develop the platform so that it delivers greater functionality and helps you deliver for your customers.
January 2024 Product and Rating Changes
With the above in mind, we look forward to a number of enhancements we are making to Rural Protect’s rates and cover, for both renewals and new business incepting from 1st January 2024; these are outlined here.
